Making a Claim

 

I have received a shipment and there are items that are damaged or broken, what do I do?

 

• Within 30 days of the receipt of shipment you must file a Notice of Intent to claim with Crawford & Company (Canada) Inc.

 

I have received the claim form from Crawford & Company (Canada) Inc. How long do I have to file a claim?

 

• You have 60 (sixty) days from the date you sent the Notice of Intent to claim form to submit your completed claim form and all of the necessary documents.

 

I have submitted a claim. How long will it take to hear from Crawford and Company (Canada) Inc.?

 

• Within 5 days of receipt of the completed claim form, Crawford will be in touch if any information or documentation has not been received.

 

I did not receive my claim form. What can I do?

 

• You can download a blank claim form directly from the website www.cfscs.ca or email ccas@crawco.ca and a claim form will be sent to you.

 

Completed Claims

 

Will the settlement be for the amount that I claimed?

 

• There are many reasons why the amount claimed may not be reflected in the initial settlement. You will receive a full written explanation for any settlement that is less than the claimed amount and instructions to follow to receive the full amount.

 

How will I know that my claim has been completed?

 

• Upon completion of your claim, Crawford & Company (Canada) Inc. will provide a fully itemized claim settlement report with the final settlement cheque, which will include all details of any partial payments or advance payments that may have been processed during the adjustment of your claim.
